Academic Board

The Academic Board consists of representatives from the management team, heads of departments, heads of offices, and the student body. The Academic Board deals with academic disputes, student misconduct, and prolonged absence from class.

University Offices

Administration Office
Head of Office: Monh Sary
The Administration Office, Room 111, Campus I, is responsible for:
• Distributing letters to and from various offices and departments around RUPP
• Sealing documents
• Registering incoming and outgoing mail and keeping copies and records
• Maintaining safety, security, sanitation and cleanliness
• Liaising with guests
• Organizing utilities, loudspeakers and electrical equipment
• Writing reports on RUPP's achievements to the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport

Finance Office
Head of Office: Mr. Soung Sarun
The finance office, Room 105, Campus I, is responsible for:
• Managing finances
• Setting up the yearly budget
• Maintaining the payroll for all teaching, administrative and other staff
• Managing overtime payments for staff
• Managing scholarships for national students
• Managing minor maintenance and building costs
• Managing fixed and non-fixed assets

Study Office
Head of Office, Mr. Ponn Chhay
The study office, Room 117, Campus I, is responsible for:
• Keeping student files and records
• Providing academic transcripts
• Keeping records of lecturer and student attendance
• Checking overtime payment for lecturers
• Establishing annual study plans
• Organizing curricula
• Designing graduation certificates and issuing relevant administrative letters to students
• Overseeing program implementation
• Compiling study regulations and internal principles
• Managing rooms and laboratories
• Organizing examinations (national entrance, semester, and final graduation examinations)
• Coordinating youth activities and sports
• Arranging international student relationships
• Managing international students' education
• Providing a photocopy service for students
• Organizing national and international celebration ceremonies

Personnel Office

The personnel office, Room 114, Campus I, is responsible for:

Research Office
Head of Office: Mr. Hang Chan Thon
Although it is recognised that research is of vital importance to the university, due to serious financial constraints, the University has conducted only a limited number of research activities thus far. Generally the University is unable to provide a budget for research activities, and researchers, unfortunately, have to find their own funding. It is hoped the University will find the desperately needed funding to carry out some of the critical research (in all areas) that may provide insights and solutions to some of Cambodia's past and current problems and issues.
The aim of the research office, Room 103, Campus I, is to promote the importance of research to students, staff and others mainly through research training and forums. It is responsible for library management, research planning, staff development workshops and the printing house. The office also administers joint research with other organizations including the Cambodian Development Research Institute (CDRI), United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), Australian National University (Australia), Iowa State University, Ohio University, Florida A.M. University (USA), University of Toronto (Canada) and Nagoya University (Japan).

Office of the Quality Assurance

The office is responsible for:
• Conducting self-evaluation and internal evaluation of the programs within the university
• Caring for the value of educational quality for the university
• Preparing policy manuals, procedures, and guidelines of evaluation
• Establishing evaluation criteria for the minimum standards of quality for the university
• Communicating with the Accreditation Committee of Cambodia (ACC)
• Working closely with AUN-QA for CQOs (chief of quality officers) in setting up policy manuals, procedures for evaluation for AUN member universities
• Liaising with departments with respect to program evaluation
• Reporting and publishing the results of the evaluation and making recommendations to the Rector
• Conducting surveys on graduates' employment
• Assisting departments in preparing documents for accreditation
• Establishing code of conducts for faculty members
• Arranging evaluation and accreditation process
• Updating the university handbook
• Setting up forms of student evaluation
• Facilitating the process of developing RUPP website
• Working with University Mobility in Asia and the Pacific (UMAP) regarding credit transfer
scheme, and assisting university student exchange in Asia and the Pacific
• Assisting and stimulating the improvement in the educational effectiveness of the university
• Strengthening and sustaining the quality and integrity of the university
