Congratulations

An ASCSE student among the RUPPers at NUS Enterprise

We are proud to share that Ms. Krin Soktheany, a second-year student of the Department of Automation & Supply Chain Systems Engineering (ASCSE), has been selected for the 2026 NUS Enterprise Summer Programme in Entrepreneurship at the National University of Singapore, and is currently in Singapore taking part in it.

The programme gives participants the opportunity to immerse themselves in the new venture creation process, to gain insight into the start-up ecosystems of Singapore and the wider Southeast Asian region, and to build connections with peers from across the region and beyond.

Krin Soktheany travelled with two fellow RUPPers — Ms. Lim Kimyi of the Department of International Business Management and Ms. Sean Sophaltheany of the Department of English — all three of whom were announced by the RUPP International Relations Office as having successfully landed a place on the programme.

Our warmest congratulations to Krin Soktheany and to all three RUPP participants. For a supply chain engineering student, a summer spent inside a start-up ecosystem is a rare vantage point on how ideas become operating businesses — and on the logistics that carry them.

About the Programme

What the NUS Enterprise summer in Singapore covers

The NUS Enterprise Summer Programme in Entrepreneurship is a short, intensive programme run by the entrepreneurial arm of the National University of Singapore. Rather than teach entrepreneurship as theory, it puts participants inside the process of starting a venture and inside the ecosystem that supports one — in a city that is the region’s densest concentration of start-ups, investors and founders.

01
New venture creation
Participants immerse themselves in the new venture creation process — how an opportunity is identified, tested and turned into a business that can actually be run.
02
Start-up ecosystems
The programme offers insight into the start-up ecosystems of Singapore and the wider Southeast Asian region — the founders, funders and institutions that make one work.
03
A regional network
Participants build connections with peers from across Southeast Asia and beyond — the part of the experience that outlasts the summer itself.
Key takeaway

Automation and supply chain engineering is the discipline of making things work at scale; entrepreneurship is the discipline of deciding what is worth building in the first place. A summer inside Singapore’s start-up ecosystem puts the two side by side — which is exactly the perspective we hope our students bring back to Cambodia.
