Overview
A partnership for the next generation
On 25 April 2026, the Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Odoo HK Limited. In the MOU, both parties intend to work within the scope set out below.

What the MOU covers

Free database access
Odoo will provide 3 months of free access to the Odoo database initially — extendable to 2 years for the
same software version if users connect to the database regularly — to support academic activities,
including teaching and learning. After 2 years, teachers and students will need to create a new database
to continue using Odoo.

All applications, education use
Odoo will provide access to all applications for educational purposes using the edu-database.

Learning & teaching materials
Odoo will provide free access to its learning and teaching materials, as published on the Odoo website,
to support academic activities.

Training & workshops
Odoo will provide free training and workshops to teachers and students from RUPP.

Mutual use of logos
Odoo may use the Royal University of Phnom Penh logo for any publication related to academic
collaboration, and vice versa.

The MOU was signed between Asst. Prof. Kean Tak (right-hand side), Vice-rector of the Royal University of Phnom Penh, and Ms. Bella Indah (left-hand side), Program Manager of Odoo HK Limited (APAC), Hong Kong.
