This course teaches theories of human behavior and social environment (HBSE) that are fundamental to social work practice. The course focuses on knowledge and skills of human behavior and social environment throughout life span from the traditional/dominate and alternative/possible perspectives.

This course will expose you to the variety of forms that social work takes and will explain what social work is, as a function of how the profession formed and is forming within the context of broad social changes and conflict. The course will provide an overview of the social work profession, including the social, political, and historical context in which social work has developed.

This course is intended to introduce social policy and welfare state. We will examine what kinds of collective provisions are considered appropriate; the ways in which social programmes are defined; how policies are formulated and administered; and the outcomes of various approaches.

This course is designed to equip MSW social work students with fundamental knowledge and skills. This course examines social ethics and values, as well as the assessment, intervention, termination, and planning phases of working with individuals, families, and groups.

The primary objective of the course is to build student's knowledge on how to design, conduct and produce a scientific research paper for academia. Key themes of the focus will be on designing a research project; specifically, choosing the right topic with specific objectives, identifying source of data and collection tools.

This course will examine theoretical framework, the process of helping the children and youth, and various kinds of vulnerability and risk for children and youth. It helps students to develop their knowledge skills and attitudes for helping children of all levels.

This course is an exploration of historical and contemporary theories, models, concepts, perspectives and current practice on community organizing & development as it relates to social change and community empowerment.

The purpose of this course is to provide students with an overview of the file of public health, the major health problems that are mostly occurring in Cambodia, and the ways on how to prevent and control the public health hazard and public health needs of the population groups.

This course is designed to provide knowledge and skills on a clinical direct social work practice related to crisis intervention in general and specific cases to social work students of RUPP MSW program.

A strong organization requires good leaders to guide, manage, interact, support, empower their staff members and to delegate the tasks to their team members. Leaders need to understand, motivate, engage and inspire individual and team to achieve great outcome.

This course is designed to acquaint the student with the fundamentals of case management such as knowledge and process. It will cover a range of issues and strategies of case management process from client assessment, intervention planning, implementation issues, monitoring, and termination and evaluation.

Field practicum is often referred to as field work or field education which is a component of social work education programs. Students learn to practice social work through educationally focused service experiences in agency and community settings.

The course is to learn social work values and practice ethics; and to understand human rights in social work practice. Social work has been practiced based on values and ethics. However, in a world of economic globalization, where individualism and becoming rich are seen as the most important things in life, the idea and concept of human rights provide an alternative moral reference point in social work.
