Cambodia to Host over 100 Researchers and Scholars from 20 countries

Royal University of Phnom Penh in close collaboration with Ewha Womans University will co-host the 9th Annual Congress of the Asian Political and International Studies Association (APISA) on 11th - 12th September 2015 at Sunway Hotel, Phnom Penh. APISA is Asia's leading academic organization dealing with political and international studies. Modeled on academic institutions in North America and Western Europe, APISA serves as an academic community for scholars working on Asia.
On the theme of “Asia in 2015 and Beyond: New Challenges and Governance Agendas”, APISA 9 seeks to contribute to scholarship about Asia, encompassing interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary research with regards to the issues of, among others, international development, conflict management, human security, regional integration, civil society, and Asian studies. Taking place in the format of keynote remarks by distinguished speakers and concurrent panel discussions by researchers, professors and graduate students, this conference will be joined by 130 presenters from 20 countries.
