She graduated with her B.Sc. with thesis research on “Determination the Persistence of Methyl Parathion in Kale and Kuang Futsio” published in Asian Journal of Water, Environment and Pollution. From her MSc. research work, she published one paper in the Phytochemistry journal, titled “Three novel mutations in alpha-galactosidase gene involving in galactomannan degradation in the endosperm of curd coconut.” She started her career as a lecturer and researcher at Bio-Engineering department, RUPP, in 2014.
She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. study in Biochemistry at Umeå University, Sweden supported by the Sweden-RUPP Bilateral Program. She joins the Integrated Structural Biology (ISB) research group, and she is working with a serine protease called Cocoonase, an enzyme that digests silk protein. The long-term goal of her project is to integrate the application of enzyme-based technology in silk production. During her Ph.D. study, she recently published one of the four research papers in the peer-review journal, titled “Milligram scale expression, refolding, and purification of Bombyx mori cocoonase using a recombinant E. coli system (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.pep.2021.105919).” She expects to acquire her Ph.D. degree in late 2023.
