RUPP's Continuing Education Center has designed, developed, and offered a number of courses where durations range from few weeks to more than six months. Each course is generally offered based on the needs of learners. However, CEC has involved in training Cambodian gifted students who are selected by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport to participate in regional and international competitions such as International Physics Olympiad (IPhO), Asian Physics Olympiad (APhO), Search for SEAMEO Young Scientists (SSYS), International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO), Asia-Pacific Mathematical Olympiad (APMO), International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics (IOAA)
where the curriculums are based on what is available in the competitions. The courses provided to Cambodian gifted students to prepare for the competitions include Physics, Mathematics, Astronomy and Astrophysics, Research Methodology, and so on. Since its establishment in 2004, CEC has developed and offered (on campus/outside campus) a number of courses such as

A side from the courses mentioned above, RUPP's CEC, under the financial supports of CIDA, has also offered professional trainings and organized workshops in some provinces of Cambodia such as Kampong Cham, Siem Reap, Kratie, Steung Treng, Rattanakiri, Kampong Speu on Physics for High Scool Teachers, Biology for High School Teachers, Chemistry for High School Teachers, and Eco-Tourism Management/Policy.
To achieve its goal of providing learning opportunities that are lifelong to Cambodian of all ages, background, professions, ethnicities, and genders, RUPP's CEC will keep designing, developing, and offering new courses that are in need and that are based on job market demands.
It should be noted that RUPP's CEC was, in the course of the project, supported by CIDA through the project: Adult Education for Economic Development to establish Distance Education (DE) in order to flexibly provide learners with more learning opportunities. The establishment process includes training key faculties on Designing and Writing Distance Education Courses, Producing and Delivering Distance Education Courses, Media Productions for Distance Education, Education Management Information System (EMIS) Planning and Designs, as well as E-learning Courses Development and Management. In addition, under the financial and technical supports of CIDA through the project, CEC has designed and developed some DE courses. The DE Programs was intended to start in October 2011.
