Introduction

This undergraduate program is designed for students who wish to gain theoretical knowledge, skills and analysis training to understand major issues in global development, especially economic development. Our curriculum focuses on a number of key subjects and skills in the fields of science, social sciences and foreign languages, noting that Cambodia has recently progressed rapidly and is in need of additional broader perspectives of the fast-changing globe. Our undergraduate programs in economics are a great foundation for this development activity. While Cambodia is facing the challenges of development in the current world, it is crucial for Cambodia to have a lot of human resources in economic field, as they will play a significant role in bringing strong development to the nation of Cambodia and the whole world. With the objectives described above, the economic curriculum is designed to serve Cambodian society.
